While we do not store or have access to the files you process (as they are converted entirely in your browser), we maintain these standards to ensure our platform is used responsibly and legally.

3. Prohibited Content

3.1 Illegal Content (Zero Tolerance)

You may NOT use our services to process any content that:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any content depicting or related to child sexual abuse or exploitation. This content is immediately reportable to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
  • Non-Consensual Intimate Images: "Revenge porn" or intimate images shared without consent
  • Terrorism Content: Content that promotes, glorifies, or provides instructions for terrorist activities
  • Illegal Drugs: Content promoting the sale or distribution of illegal drugs
  • Human Trafficking: Content facilitating human trafficking or exploitation
  • Counterfeit Goods: Content promoting the sale of counterfeit or pirated products

IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE

Processing illegal content using our services is a criminal offense. We will cooperate fully with law enforcement and report any suspected illegal activity. Violations will result in immediate service termination and legal action.

3.2 Harmful Content

You may NOT use our services to process content that:

  • Violence and Gore: Graphic violence, gore, or content depicting harm to humans or animals
  • Self-Harm: Content promoting or glorifying self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
  • Hate Speech: Content promoting hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • Harassment: Content intended to harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten individuals
  • Dangerous Activities: Content providing instructions for dangerous or illegal activities (bomb-making, illegal weapons, etc.)

3.3 Sexually Explicit Content (Restricted)

While we don't see your files, our services should NOT be used for processing:

  • Adult/Pornographic Content: Sexually explicit images, videos, or audio (even if legal)
  • Sexual Services: Content promoting or facilitating prostitution or sexual services
  • Sexualized Minors: Any sexualized depiction of minors, including artistic or simulated content

Note: This restriction exists to maintain advertiser relationships (Google AdSense) and ensure our platform remains accessible to all users. Even though files are processed locally, use of our services for adult content violates our Terms of Service.

3.4 Copyright and Intellectual Property Violations

You may NOT use our services to process content that:

  • Infringes Copyright: Copyrighted material you don't own or have permission to use (movies, TV shows, music, software, books, etc.)
  • Trademark Violations: Content that misuses trademarks or impersonates brands
  • Pirated Content: Illegally downloaded or distributed copyrighted material
  • Counterfeit Software: Pirated software, cracks, keygens, or activation tools

3.5 Technical Abuse

You may NOT use our services to:

  • Malware Distribution: Process files containing viruses, trojans, ransomware, or other malicious code
  • Spam: Process content for mass spam campaigns or unsolicited communications
  • Phishing: Create content for phishing attacks or fraudulent schemes
  • Data Harvesting: Process scraped data obtained without authorization
  • Automated Abuse: Use bots or scripts to abuse our services

4. Acceptable Use Examples

  • ✅ Compressing work documents to reduce file size for email
  • ✅ Converting home videos to different formats for different devices
  • ✅ Creating audio files from your own video recordings
  • ✅ Converting presentation files for compatibility
  • ✅ Processing original content you created or have rights to use
  • ✅ Converting legally obtained educational materials
  • ✅ Processing public domain content

Examples of Prohibited Use

  • ❌ Processing illegally downloaded music
  • ❌ Creating adult content or pornographic material
  • ❌ Converting copyrighted software or cracked programs
  • ❌ Processing hate speech videos or extremist content
  • ❌ Converting files containing malware or viruses
  • ❌ Processing non-consensual intimate images
  • ❌ Converting content that promotes violence or terrorism

5. Copyright and DMCA Compliance

5.1 Copyright Respect

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. Do not use our services to process copyrighted material unless:

  • You own the copyright
  • You have explicit permission from the copyright holder
  • Your use qualifies as "fair use" under applicable law
  • The content is in the public domain

7. Enforcement and Consequences

7.1 Violation Consequences

Violations of this Content Policy may result in:

  • Warning: First-time minor violations may receive a warning
  • Service Suspension: Temporary restriction of access to our services
  • Permanent Ban: Permanent termination of access (for serious violations)
  • Legal Action: Referral to law enforcement for illegal content
  • Civil Liability: You may be held financially liable for damages

7.2 Immediate Termination Offenses

The following violations result in immediate permanent ban without warning:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Non-consensual intimate images
  • Terrorism-related content
  • Content promoting violence against individuals or groups
  • Malware distribution
  • Repeated violations after previous warnings
